um, EW! If I was on the other line I would hang up. That's just wrong.

Oh, I hate it when I overhear people doing that. For some reason, it feels gross and invasive to me--I don't want to hear people's conversations when I'm using the damn toilet.

This annoys me to no end. Just plain gross and inconsiderate! If I had it in me, in theory, I'd like to make the most disgusting loud noises ever to embarrass the a-hole! (but in actuality, I wouldn't...)

This sort of behavior always boggles my mind. If it's so personal that they can't talk about it elsewhere - why in there? - More curious is why they would want to spend that much time in the ladies room. Strange [and annoying].

if I am on the phone and headed to the public restroom I will cut the other person off before I even get to the door.
It would have been fantastic if she dropped her phone in the stall... teach her to talk while in the ladies room...

How about the person on the other end of the call? I don't know about all of you, but if I heard toilets flushing and other normal bathroom sounds while I was on the phone with someone, I would be offended...

I can't think of anything I dislike more than someone talking in the stall while I'm trying to pee. If you catch me in the right mood I just might go on an excessive flushing binge... but then I would realize I was wasting water which would suck too. Oh to be able to make horrible bodily noises and not be embarrassed

I've got one even better! I was in a public restroom and a woman goes into the stall next to me. Immediately my bladder get shy and I have to wait a minute to get it going again. The next thing I know, the woman in the stall next to me starts talking....clearly on her cell phone. So as I sit waiting for my bladder to start working again, the woman continues her conversation. As she talks, she pauses mid-sentence every few seconds to grunt. It is obvious what she is doing. I cannot believe that this woman is dropping the kids off at the pool while she is talking to someone on the phone. After a few minutes, the woman flushes and exits the stall, still talking on the phone. Now I have this image in my head as to how in the world did she manage to wipe while holding the phone? I'm perplexed.

uh. you people are too uptight. where's a girl supposed to talk when she's out at a noisy club/bar, or at dinner with friends, or just plain wants to have a conversation away from tons of people? i dont see what the big deal is, i do it all the time. not while i'm shtng or on the toilet or anything.. but in the ladies room, most definitely.

I find the behavior bizarre. I usually just sit quietly and listen, and often end up trying not to laugh. As for if I'd do it, probably not.
